at Southern Cross Care have made demands for better pay, more time to care and more staff but <strong>management are not listening.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>After aged care workers worked tirelessly to care for older Australians through the pandemic, Southern Cross Care is offering a meagre 4% pay increase \u2013<strong> that\u2019s below the inflation rate and means workers will be going backwards.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Stingy pay increases don\u2019t apply to Southern Cross Care executives \u2013 their pay went up by 9 per cent to $7 million in the latest annual report.\u00a0<\/p><p>Southern Cross Care MUST act to give workers more time to care \u2013 and pay attention to the fact more than 300 reports of understaffing were made by Southern Cross Care workers to <a href=\"https:\/\/agedcarewatch.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Aged Care Watch<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p><p>Southern Cross Care MUST<strong> listen to their workers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Time is up, Southern Cross Care workers are <strong>demanding a fair offer, and won\u2019t give up.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
