meet with aged care workers now!<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3b26258 sc_fly_static elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3b26258\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Aged care workers at Churches of Christ have been <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">waiting over a year<\/span> for management to meet with them to discuss a fair wage increase.<\/p>\n<p>In a show of disrespect for aged care workers, Churches of Christ have STILL not met with employees and have provided<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> little-to-no correspondence<\/span> to date.<\/p><p>Staff have worked tirelessly for three years without a pay rise. Then, after IGNORING workers\u2019 \ndemands to meet about their claims for better pay, more staff and more time to care, \nChurches of Christ management coughed up a miserable 2.5% pay increase.\nChurches of Christ\u2019s pay-out is little more than \u201ckeep quiet\u201d money and <u>an insult to aged care \nworkers <\/u>who have cared for older Australians through the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Churches of Christ claim they want to build a positive workplace culture and high employee satisfaction levels.
